These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BudgetGenie ("BudgetGenie", "we", "our", "us"), including our mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate and current information.
- You must promptly notify us of unauthorized account access.
3. License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial budgeting and financial organization.
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code, except where prohibited by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or abusive content.
4. Financial Disclaimer
BudgetGenie is a budgeting and tracking tool. It does not provide financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for financial decisions and for verifying any data or calculations.
5. Third-Party Services and Data
The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example, authentication, infrastructure, and market data providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, availability, or content.

7. Intellectual Property

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUDGETGENIE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BudgetGenie and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your principal operating jurisdiction, excluding conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive venue and jurisdiction of competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless local consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to These Terms
